Who is Encore?
Encore is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that provides performing arts opportunities to homeschool and cyber school students in central Pennsylvania.
We are a Christian organization focused on maintaining a Christlike culture for our families in order to provide our students with a positive, challenging, and educational experience without compromising our faith and values. For this reason, we have each student apply to participate so we can ensure the harmonious and cooperative culture within our doors.
What makes Encore! distinctively different is how we welcome new families and make them feel accepted and comfortable. Our students are encouraged to make room in their established friendship circles for new families.
We are an all volunteer organization requiring each family to participate in some aspect of the production such as props, sets, costumes, monitoring rehearsals, show concessions, ushering, or promotions. Every participating family also raises funds to pay for their show.
All students must apply and be approved by the board to audition in Encore. Everyone who auditions for our musicals will be cast. However, due to the fact that our plays have much smaller casts we are not able to cast everyone who audition for our plays.
We primarily rehearse at Living Hope Church, 3030 Schoolhouse Road, Middletown, 17057. Our current show venue is The Junction Center in Manheim. Historically we have performed at Trinity High School, Living Hope Church, Hershey Area Playhouse, and Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center.

Statement of Faith
Preamble to By-laws
For the establishing and maintaining of a biblical, evangelical Christian performing arts ministry for homeschool and cyber school students in South-Central Pennsylvania.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity and humanity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ’s substitutionary death on our behalf.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
